Child abuse in the Philippines
The story of Precy, a Compassion director who works in Cebu City in the Philippines. A city that has the name of being the sex capital of the Philippines, according to Unicef 8 out of 10 children are at risk for sexual abuse. In this environment she has to offer a protective place for the kids.
Making this short film (there is a longer doc in the making) was very challenging, since it was such a hard topic where it is not easy to talk about, let alone on film. It was inspiring however to see the dedication and love and compassion of the staff of Compassion, especially Precy who is so protective of the kids.
