75 years freedom - winter in wartime
75 years of freedom, a short doc about Jan Terlouw’s winter in wartime.
Jan Terlouw is so many things, on his wikipedia page it says the following: Jan Cornelis Terlouw (born 15 November 1931) is a retired Dutch politician and diplomat of the Democrats 66 (D66) party and physicist and author. Author came last, but we think he will be remembered for the wonderful children books he wrote the most. In this short doc we have kids asking their questions, where we look back on his childhood during the war, but also look forward to the challenges we all face today.
The narrative is driven by kids reading parts of the book, that we supported by old footage from the war.
This is just a teaser, the full short doc will be shared after some screenings.
